Step by step oh how to:

1) Use the Excto blade to cut the egg in zig zag cuts.

2) Paper Mâché the inside and outside of the egg. {Please see other post how to make the mixture for both.}

3) Use the Shimmeing silver acrylic paint inside the egg. I did 2 coats

4) Use the pearl white acrylic paint on the outside of egg. I did 2 coats

5) Mix the extra fine silver glitter with the Matt finish mod podge. Use the song brush to coat to the coverage you like.

6) Then use just matted mod podge over to keep the glitter from falling off. I did 2 coats

7) Brush on the glossy mod podge to make the service sticky for the silver flakes. Let the mod dry for 5 to 6 min before putting on the silver flakes inside of the egg.

8) lightly brush off the exes sliver flakes then repeat above steep for area that did not take to your liking.

9) Paint on thin layer of the glossy mod over the silver flakes to secure it.

10) take the silver paint marker to go around the edge of the egg.

set up and enjoy your newest creation.
