The Walled Garden
The two arbors totaling 236 feet entwined with some original grapevines. Spring with daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips. Summer dozens of varieties of annuals, including dahlias, zinnias, and globe amaranth. Fall brings a multi hued display of chrysanthemums.
The Rose Garden
lower half of the walled garden is planted with 2,300 roses, and 250 varieties. Along with varieties grown in Edith and George's time.
Conservatory
the glass roofed conservatory was designed bu Hunt built in 1957 and restored in 1999. It provides flowers and plants for Biltmore house and tender bedding plants for the gardens just as it did during Edith and George time.
Bass Pond and Lagoon
Water features were an important aspect of the pastoral landscape, and Olmsted planned two for the estate. You can take a hike take in the view from the footbridge spanning a waterfall that spills into a rocky ravine.

Creamery
The Winery
is located in the old Biltmore dairy barn built in 1891. As part of a larger farm operation that also include produce and livestock. The Dairy was a extreme success its eggs, milk, butter, cottage cheese and the famous Biltmore ice cream. The creamery was occupied by the Dairy until 1957 and the main dairy barn was used until the early 1980's. After a three year renovation, covering the 96,500 square feet in to the winery where the wines tasting and produce are sold and you walk throw a small of the basement where the consent temp of 54 degrees for the wine and sparkling wine cellar.
